Most candle makers color their wax, but not us. So, why are our candles white?

The natural look

The wax in YUXIN candles is made from natural, domestic soybeans. We use soy wax in the first place for several reasons, but that doesn't explain the color of our candles. Well, soy wax is naturally off-white, so why mess with the pure appearance of the wax? It's naturally beautiful.

There are no additives

The only ingredients in our candles are natural soy wax and essential oils. Unlike paraffin candles, soy candles also cannot use dyes and require more colorants with darker colors, which means the candle needs more additives. This not only affects the natural quality of our candles, but also upsets the balance of wax and fragrance.

Before Use

Scented soy candles are a great mini investment for relaxation and mood regulation. A quality candle should be scented throughout the burning process. Your candle should not smoke, nor should the wax tunnel. It's just a waste of unused fragrance and wax, and very unattractive. The following tips can help you avoid these common problems and get the best out of your jar and votive candles.  

1. You should not see smoke and soot when you light your candle for the first time. If this happens, extinguish the flame and trim the wick slightly. Do not trim the wick to less than 1/4 inch. **Trim the wick as needed during the life of the candle.

2. To avoid forming a tunnel, allow the candle to burn until the wax melts and pools evenly along the entire surface, edge to edge. The entire top should be liquid. This is very important for the first burn. After initial use, it is recommended that you do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours per day. This will increase carbon build up. The wick may produce soot and smoke, which can leave debris in the wax.
